The Beginning
Rydell Tailors opened its doors in 1977, founded on a simple belief: everyone deserves clothes that fit perfectly. What started as a small alterations shop in Kansas City quickly earned a reputation for meticulous work and honest service.
In those early days, word spread through Brookside and beyond — here was a tailor who took the time to get it right, who treated a pair of work trousers with the same care as a wedding gown.

Second Generation
Today, Erik carries on the family tradition. Trained from a young age in the craft, he brings both respect for classic techniques and an eye for modern style.
Whether you need a vintage suit restored or your raw denim hemmed just right, Erik treats every garment — and every customer — with care. It's the Rydell way: take your time, do it right, stand behind your work.
